1 cup vegetable oil
3 cups granulated sugar
4 eggs, beaten
5 cups flour (all or part whole wheat, if desired)
5 teaspoons baking soda
2 teaspoons salt
1 quart buttermilk
1 (15 ounce) box Raisin Bran Flakes
2 tablespoons flaxseed

Mix all ingredients. Fill greased muffin tins 2/3 full. Bake at 400F. for 15 to 20 minutes.
Store batter in refrigerator for up to 6 weeks.

Note: Use 2 cups buttermilk if making a half batch.
