Comment: Recipe may be halved and baked in a 9-inch square baking pan.

4 to 5 stalks fresh broccoli, cut into bite-size pieces (enough to fill a 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan), cooked halfway
2 (10 3/4 ounce) cans condensed cream of mushroom soup
1/2 cup milk
1/2 cup mayonnaise
2 eggs
Salt and ground black pepper, to taste
1-1/2 cups grated cheddar cheese
1/2 cup crushed Ritz crackers (approx. 10 crackers) or bread crumbs
2 tablespoons butter, melted

Combine soup, milk, mayonnaise, eggs, salt, pepper and 1/2 cup cheese in a large bowl. Fold in cooked broccoli. Pour into a greased 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking dish. Top with remaining cheese and crushed crackers or bread crumbs. Drizzle with melted butter. Bake at 350F. for 45 minutes.
