1 pound ground beef
1 (16 ounce) can pork & beans
3/4 cup hickory smoke barbecue sauce
1 tablespoon instant minced onion
2 tablespoons firmly packed brown sugar
1 teaspoon salt
1 tube Hungry Jack or butterflake rolls
1 cup grated cheddar cheese

In oven-proof skillet, brown ground beef; drain. Stir in pork & beans, barbecue sauce, onion, brown sugar and salt. Heat in 400F. oven until mixture boils. Top mixture with rolls split in half, cut side down. Bake until rolls are brown. Sprinkle with cheese and bake a few more minutes until cheese melts.
