1 cup Bisquick baking mix
2 teaspoons salt
1 teaspoon paprika
1/8 teaspoon ground black pepper
2-1/2 to 3 pound chicken, cut-up
2 tablespoons shortening
1 tablespoon margarine
1 (10-1/2 ounce) can condensed cream of chicken soup
1-1/2 cups milk

Dumpling Dough:
2 cups Bisquick baking mix
2/3 cup milk
1/2 teaspoon parsley flakes
1/4 teaspoon poultry seasoning

Mix 1 cup Bisquick, salt, paprika and pepper in paper or plastic bag. Shake 2 or 3 pieces of chicken at a time in bag to coat thoroughly. In 12-inch skillet, brown chicken in hot shortening and melted butter. Remove chicken pieces; pour excess fat from skillet. Stir in soup and milk; add chicken pieces. Cover; heat to boiling. Cook over low heat about 1 hour or until chicken is tender.
Twenty minutes before chicken is done, prepare Dumpling dough. Mix 2 cups Bisquick, milk, parsley flakes and poultry seasoning with fork. Drop dough by spoonfuls onto hot soup mixture. Cook uncovered over low heat 10 minutes; cover and cook 10 minutes longer. To serve, place dumplings around chicken on platter; pour gravy over top.
