1-1/2 cups lightly salted butter or margarine, at room temperature
1 cup granulated sugar
2 eggs
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
4 cups all-purpose flour
Confectioners' Sugar Icing
Green and red food colors

Heat oven to 400F. In a medium-sized bowl beat butter and sugar. When creamy, beat in eggs and vanilla. Stir in flour, one fourth at a time, mixing well after each additon, to make a stiff dough. Fit a cookie press (manual or electric) with a star tip and fill with some of the dough. Press dough out onto ungreased baking sheets while moving cookie press in a circular motion to form a wreath. Place wreaths about 1-inch apart; refill press as necessary. Bake 8 to 9 minutes, until edges are lightly browned. Transfer to wire racks to cool.

Tint two-thirds of the icing with green food color and the remaining third with red. Fit a decorator bag with a leaf tip and fill with green icing. Pipe 2 or 3 clusters of small overlapping leaves around each wreath. Fit a decorator bag with a fine writing tip and fill with red icing. Pipe small dots on leaves for berries. Let cookies stand for 45 minutes, until icing hardens.
