4 eggs, beaten
1 (29 ounce) can (3 cups) pumpkin
1-1/2 cups granulated sugar
1 teaspoon salt
2-1/2 teaspoons cinnamon
1 teaspoon ginger
1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
1 (12 ounce) can evaporated milk
1 yellow cake mix
1 cup (2 sticks) butter, melted
1 cup chopped nuts

Mix first 8 ingredients in order given. Pour in an ungreased 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan. Sprinkle cake mix over pumpkin mixture. Drizzle with melted butter. Sprinkle with nuts.
Bake at 350F. (glass pan at 325F.) for approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes, until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
Serve warm with whippped cream or topping.
