3 cans sardines in oil (cheapest ones)
3/4 cup very finely chopped onion
2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
Small amount of white vinegar
1 can smoked oysters

Open and drain oil off the sardines. Put in a bowl and mince to mush with the back of a fork. Add the onions, Worcestershire sauce and a few drops of vinegar. Mix well. Add just enough vinegar to make it moist. (This mixture can be frozen up to a year.)
Place mixture of sardines on a Ritz cracker or triscuit (about 1/2 teaspoon). Add one large smoked oyster to each appetizer just before serving.
